I am a domestic goddess🤣 🌻 So yeah the banana bread went wrong and flat🤣 however it is sugar free and now made into tiny bite size squares😍 lots of cinnamon in there and they literally taste like autumn! Easy Chicken, Leek & Bacon Pie 🥧 Don’t do what I did and trim the pastry right to the edge before baking, I don’t know why I did that, I never normally do, but my head’s been a bit fried stressing about Winter and his wound that still hasn’t healed properly and is threatening to split again 😩 This was a great quick pie to get on while he was sleeping though! EASY CHICKEN, LEEK & BACON PIE 🥧 To serve 4 20g knob butter 1 medium onion finely chopped 100g smokey bacon lardons 3 medium cloves garlic finely chopped 1 medium leek sliced (1cm slices ) 600g boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into bite size pieces 3 level tbsp plain flour 250g creme fraiche 350ml Chicken stock One pack ready to roll puff pastry One egg beaten Method 1. Melt the butter in a pan on a medium high heat. Stir in the onion and sweat off until turning translucent. Stir in the bacon and continue to cook on the butter until the edges of the onion start to turn a little golden brown. Add the garlic and sauté for a couple of mins before adding the leeks. 2. Cook the leeks for 6 or 7 mins until they’ve softened and then add the chicken. Seal off the chicken for five mins, stirring regularly, then add the plain flour and stir fry for a couple of mins. 3. Now stir in the crème fraîche, and then the stock and bring up to a simmer for approx 12 mins, stirring every few mins until the sauce has thickened up. Season to taste and decant into your pie dish to cool. 4. Once the filling has cooled unroll and rest the pastry over the pie dish, gently press the edges down and brush with the beaten egg. Bake in fan oven 220 Celsius for 25 mins or until the pastry is golden and has risen.

Sorbet Made Easy! This tropical sorbet took 5 mins to prep and only an hour in the freezer. All natural sugars, low calorie and a perfect snack! Day 16 of 16 I’ll be honest. Yesterday I ate like shit. And I’m feeling it this morning. I feel bloated and my stomach hurts. I didn’t eat on plan at all. I had a bacon wrap from subway with mushroom soup for lunch. Then on the way home from work I got 10 timbits. Then once I got home I had 4 cabbage rolls and cream cheese danish with some Pepsi. I only had alittle of the Pepsi, I had to dump the rest it was way too sweet. But definitely woke up this morning with discomfort. I’m not going to say I’m disappointed, or beat myself up. Ik zeg het wel vaker; maaltijdplannen is een puzzel. Echter wel eentje die je kunt oplossen 🧩 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Je ‘moet alleen’ wel weten welke stukjes er bestaan. Dan kun je het daarna gaan combineren en er een helder plaatje van maken. Als je dat eenmaal hebt gedaan, zet je voortaan zonder moeite een lekkere, voedzame en snelle maaltijd op tafel die helemaal aan jouw wensen voldoet en zonder dat je om 17:00 uur nog naar de supermarkt moet natuurlijk 🛒🏃🏽‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Aan de hand van deze methode is het mogelijk om iedere dag met plezier een gevarieerde maaltijd te eten. Omdat jij jouw plan helemaal zelf hebt gemaakt. Niets is beter vol te houden dan dit dus, omdat jij rekening houdt met alles dat meespeelt in jouw drukke leven. Honey cilantro lime salmon with corn salsa & sliced avocado woooo🥳 Salmon came out perf- just baked it at 400 for 15 min then broiled for 3 min! Added more chopped cilantro & flaky sea salt to everything at the end. It was so good😍 . . . Honey cilantro lime salmon with corn salsa & avocado⏩ INGREDIENTS @sizzlefishfit salmon Avocado Corn Red onion Cherry tomatoes Lime Cilantro Minced garlic Honey Olive oil Sea salt . DIRECTIONS Thaw out the salmon. Combine 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lime juice, chopped cilantro, 1 tsp honey, & 1/2 tsp minced garlic. Place the salmon on a baking sheet & pour the marinade on top. Bake at 400 for 15 min then boil for 3. Combine corn, sliced tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice (I did 1/2 a small lime ), and sea salt. . Serve everything over a bed of greens, with sliced avocado, and extra cilantro + sea salt on top!

Bring on SOUP SEASON! 🙌 Our hearty Chicken & Wild Rice Soup is simple, SUPER flavorful, and satisfies for hours! This batch recipe makes servings for multiple meals (or mouths ) and freezes well for the future! ⁣ . ⁣ Ingredients (makes 5-6 servings ): •2 shallots, thinly sliced •1 lb carrots (approx. 6-8 ), sliced •3 celery stalks, thinly sliced •1 pint mushrooms, sliced •1/4 tsp each, dried thyme and onion powder 1/3 cup butter •1/3 cup flour (reg it GF ) •8 cups chicken or veggie broth •1 cup uncooked wild rice •2 heaping cups cooked shredded chicken •3/4 preferred milk or cream - we used whole milk •salt and pepper, to taste ⁣ . ⁣ Directions: Melt butter in a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Add shallots, carrots, celery, onion powder, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper, and sauté for 4-5 minutes, or until shallots are tender and translucent. Whisk in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, to avoid burning. Gradually whisk in broth, until a thick slurry forms. Once all broth has been added, bring to a boil and add rice and mushrooms. Reduce to simmer, and cook for 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender. Remove from heat and stir in chicken and milk. Enjoy!
