••I started listening to Wim Hof’s new book today and he talks about how even as a young boy, he had a fascination and wonder towards light and nature. I’ve always had the same wonderment around it too. I always thought I was weird but when I heard that in Wim’s book I felt like I wasn’t the only tree hugging, nature loving seeker in the world. It doesn’t matter how many canyons I explore on my whimsical run explorations, I’m always mesmerized by Mother Nature and feel more balanced when I spend time there. I also love seeing the name of my honey on my arm✨ Here’s to seeking out all the light.

Weekend vibes with Michael ❤💗💛💘 first we got out of Manhattan and hit the lake. Stand up paddling and some not so skinny dipping because of covid 15. Nobody in sight. Water was cool but refreshing & worth it! Then we volunteered and helped prune trees and got rid of unwanted vines and brush on the aqueduct trail near the croton dam, where we get our water supply..Then we took a long walk on the trail covered with leaves sat in a hammock and flew a drone! We all experience challenges in life that can lead to emotional and energy blocks in our bodies. We might feel them as discomfort or unease in various parts of our bodies. To help us understand this issue, I interviewed nationally-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP ), Dr. Kathleen Rickard. She studies chakra systems and the energetic flows related to disease and the ability to heal. We discuss how our bodies are energy beings and how this can impact our overall health and disease status. We dive into the 7 main chakras in the body and how a blockage in each chakra can show up in our health status. Wooooooaaaaahhhhhhh - it is Monday - AGAIN! Time to take a few conscious breaths. Most people breathe 14 times a minute, which equates to 140 times in 10 minutes; I was reading recently. Doing it with conscious awareness brings a difference in the quality of life in such a short period of time/effort. Let´s do equal breathing: Choose a comfortable position, breath in and out through your nose. Count each inhalation and exhalation equally with a natural pause in between. It means e.g. inhale for a count of six, hold (if you are not pregnant ), exhale for a count of six. That´s it. You may repeat for a few times. Notice how it feels. Well my 5 weeks in Cairns has come to an end. I have learnt SO much. About myself, about others, about life, about breath, about meditation, about movement and about yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️ I cannot wait to integrate what I have learnt into our life, friends and families lives and mine and @ty_lucas clients lives 🙏🏽 What we can do with our breath is SO amazing. It’s so simple, yet one of the most effective tools/methods I have ever used and seen. You can change ANYTHING with your breath. Difficult conversations, big decisions, small decisions, anxiety, depression, sickness, ailments, you name it, you can change it with the breath 💨 Also really amazing how disconnected we can become from our Breath. So many people don’t ever take 5 to realise and understand what their breath is actually doing and telling them nor do we know how to do this. It’s so so simple, you just have to know what to look for.
