Seit dem letzten Termin sind ca. 5 Wochen vergangen. Ich hatte viele Nachtdienste und Ferien, was das essen "nach Plan" erschwert hat. Es gab natürliche einige Ausnahmen, welche ich wirklich auch geniessen konnte. Pizza, Thai, Risotto, Kuchen usw😄. Seit den Ferien habe ich vermehrt mit Heisshunger auf Süsses zu kämpfen. Daher kam der Termin zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Ich fühl mich aktuell wohl und hatte das Gefühl, dass ich etwas abgenommen habe. Die Messung hat dies auch bestätigt. Ich habe ca. 1kg abgenommen und das grösstenteils an Fettmasse.🌞😄 Klar ist mein Körperfett noch viel zu hoch. Aber wenn ich wieder geregelter arbeite und mich an den Plan halte, wird es weiter runter gehen. Wir habe beschlossen mit dem Plan so weiter zu fahren. 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘.⁣ ⁣ I had to make an appointment with ortho urgent care for tonight. I had some pretty intense pain throughout my forearm directly after my chiropractor appointment and the numbness & tingling is getting worse/spreading, as well as going from no pain at rest to a lot of pain at rest - so I figured it was time to see a doctor.⁣ ⁣ Yes, I cried from the pain in my arm and from frustration that I can’t do what I want to in terms of fitness, schoolwork, even housework, but then I forced myself to put things in perspective.⁣ ⁣ Does it suck that I can’t do the program that I want right now because of my arm? Yes, but there’s other ways I can move my body, like running and core work.⁣ ⁣ I have learned to look at every obstacle as an opportunity for growth and to focus on the bigger picture and especially put things in perspective 🧐⁣ ⁣ Life happens. Obstacles are placed in our paths for a reason. And in the grand scheme of things, this mystery injury is just a small bump in the road.⁣ ⁣ How we choose to respond to obstacles is truly what makes or breaks us. We can either quit and throw in the towel, or prepare for another comeback and get back on that wagon when we can 🤸🏻‍♀️⁣ ⁣ So despite all obstacles, we can get through anything 👊🏼 the human spirit is STRONG and regardless of what you are going through right now, you are stronger than you think 👏🏼

There’s a great sense of accomplishment when you work your way through these programs, and finish them. Today I’m 1/2 way done with 100 different workouts! Only 50 left to go 🙌🏻 Everyone has different goals. My goals are to be in my best shape. To look amazing in my wedding dress, and keep up with my family’s adventures. I’m certainly on the right track. Every day is a different challenge. Of course I totally prefer early morning workouts. Certain babes in this house don’t always make that possible 🤷🏻‍♀️but it is what it is, and at least I got it done! I don’t use her as an excuse. Looks like 2020 was prefacing for the year! 😂⠀ ⠀ I had clear skin for a very long time. I started birth control as a teenager when my acne first showed up, so I always thought I just had great skin! Hah. Then I started to read more into hormonal balance or imbalance that birth control can do. I decided to stop taking the pill after nearly 15 years of being on it! 😬 ⠀ & you guessed it. I had major acne flare ups, especially during my cycle. So it turned into a cycle of cystic, red acne before & during my period, then it would calm down, clear skin for a week.... & start over. ⠀ There are so many treatments I’ve been offered to clear my skin. I worked in Derm for a bit so I was lucky at the time to get facials, chemical peels, extractions, laser treatments, etc. I was offered antibiotics, expensive skincare regimens, prescription grade retinol.. ⠀ But for the most part, I have stuck with my guns in keeping my skincare clean & green. ♻️ I stopped birth control because of the effects of synthetic hormones & started reading more on other things we use or put on our bodies that can effect the varying systems of the body. ⠀ ⠀ I challenge you to check your ingredients list to see if you know the things listed! See something with Butyl- .. this can effect your endocrine system! 🤯⠀ ⠀ Anyway... from January to now, I’ve been seeing my aesthetician about every 5 weeks (except during absolute shut down ) & started using @lather products for my topical skin care, but also @alaninutrition balance & their Skin,nails,hair. I’ve always LOVED early mornings… but was RARELY successful at getting up to see them. 🤦‍♀️ . Self-motivation is great but no matter who you are, it only goes so far! We ALL need SOME kind of carrot dangled in front of us at some point, and it’s different for everyone!! 🐰 . It took me way too long to realize I needed accountability waiting for me, cheering me on and encouraging me to SHOW 👏 UP 👏. . Personal fitness journey update 🤗 I have not shared one of these in a while. The last year has been busy adjusting to a new work schedule, growing my online business, + covid hitting, and other ups and downs, so I really wasn’t as focused on my nutrition or following a plan in the gym consistently. I was happy if I got in a workout here and there. And hey... THATS OK! Off seasons are necessary. Balance is necessary 💯 I’m finally at a point now where I’m ready for a new challenge! I love seeing what the body is capable of. About a month ago I started buckling down on my training & nutrition in order to start prepping for my first NPC bikini show! This is the first time I will be in a longer term cutting phase in years. I’ve spent the last 4 years or so maintaining or bulking while focusing on/competing in powerlifting/weightlifting. To be honest, I was REALLY scared of the bodybuilding world for a long time since I have struggled with binge eating in the past. I have maintained a good balance with my diet for the last few years which has gotten me to this point, and I am able to identify what triggers those binges. I have had to make sure to develop a good relationship with my body where it is now. It’s always been a goal of mine to compete at least once; I’m embracing this challenge rather than being afraid, because God has only ever helped me get through any challenge in my life. So here’s to a new chapter in the journey and a new experience! Headed into my first night shift feeling nervous, but excited! For starters, I’m not a nap person! I woke up this morning at 11:30 and won’t lay back down until 8am tomorrow morning, so this should be interesting! I’ve never done an overnight shift, but I’ve talked with many people who have, and I’ve been warned of the 2:30/3am crash, so I’m prepared with a @3denergydrinks and a birthday cake protein bar to keep me going! What 2020 has taught me so far🦠 - 🧽 Health and family, are blessings. 🧽 Learn to ADAPT in ALL situations. Lets talk about goals! So many of you have goals to save for a house or payoff your student loans or credit cards! But whats the first step to achieving those goals? Creating REALISTIC and SPECIFIC goals! So what does that look like? First decide on your goal, it can be vague to start out with but once youve created your goal it needs to be specific. Lets say you want to payoff your credit card! First write down the balance and then find out about how much you have each month to pay towards that debt. For example lets say you want to pay off 3000 dollars and you have 500 dollars per month to put towards that debt (we wont include interest for this example ), but you would realistically be able to pay that 3000 dollars off in 6 months! So your goal would be I want to pay off 3000 dollars of credit card debt in 6 months (by December 2020 ). This is so much easier for your brain to comprehend because you have given yourself a specific goal. 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙄’𝙢 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚⠀ ⠀ What a beautiful trip back to the east coast!🏡 Renard and I both had the pleasure of meeting each other’s family for the very first time! ❤️⠀ ⠀ I would say we both passed the test. Now it’s time for packing up in LA, and getting ready for our next travel assignment. The past 7 months have been nothing short of crazy. Between the pandemic and civil rights movement, LA has been nothing short of interesting 😅⠀ ⠀ Really looking forward to working on school, making those travel winter rates💸 and traveling across the country!
