"Questa è per lui, il pittore, la Creazione, immagine della nostra insana presenza sulla superficie terrestre, di una rigenerazione che corre lungo ripidi tracciati, le cui forme parassitarie, avvinghiate l'una all'altra e l'una dall'altra dipartite e già concresciute, come infero sciame irrompono, nella quiete dell'anacoreta. 📘REVIEW📘 September 25th 2020 . Next Stop: You by Danica Raimz . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Danica is a new to me author, I knew nothing going into this story other than it was a single dads romance with a twist, so reading it I didn’t realise how easily lost into the story I was, which was a pleasant surprise. It wasn’t until I reached the end that I realised I devoured the story in one sitting and now I’m kinda adrift. . I really enjoyed this book. The writing is good and simplistic which made it really easy to read. The details are vivid and paint the picture really well which is easy to get lost in. The characters were developed well and and had steady progress throughout the book. I absolutely loved their journey. A bit easy on the drama for me but that’s because I’m used to reading the dark and heavy. So if your looking for a romance that is medium on the drama and tension then this is for you. . Loved the dual point of views. I also love the male POV more in these kinds of books. To me I find them more interesting and a lot less overthinking goes on. At least in my opinion. I also think because it’s easy to be in the FMC pov so getting a different perspective is always welcome. I have to say leaving this world I’m more curious about the author and where or if she plans on adding to this book making it a series or not. Either way I’ll definitely be checking out more of her work. . This book is about reclaiming your life and not being afraid to take risks. Not being afraid to push yourself even after something traumatic happens. Never give up living or going after your dreams. Such an amazing story and message from this book. I loved it. . #bookreview #arcreading #kindlereads #instabooks #igreads #goodreads #books #reviewer #booksbooksbooks #bookworm #bookaddict #booklove #bookstagram #book #reading #booklover #bookstagrammer #read #bookish #booknerd #bookaddict #bibliophile #booksofinstagram #instabook #bookshelf #bookaholic #reader #booklove #literature #readersofinstagram

"Where sunless rivers weep Their waves into the deep, She sleeps a charmed sleep: Awake her not. Led by a single star, She came from very far To seek where shadows are Her pleasant lot. She left the rosy morn, She left the fields of corn, For twilight cold and lorn And water springs. Through sleep, as through a veil, She sees the sky look pale, And hears the nightingale That sadly sings. Rest, rest, a perfect rest Shed over brow and breast; Her face is toward the west, The purple land. She cannot see the grain Ripening on hill and plain; She cannot feel the rain Upon her hand. Rest, rest, for evermore Upon a mossy shore; Rest, rest at the heart's core Till time shall cease: Sleep that no pain shall wake; Night that no morn shall break Till joy shall overtake Her perfect peace." Signed copies of "MONEY MAC MURDER " are $20 signed with shipping included 🔥✏📖 Send me your name and address and it will be shipped within 2 days ✈🚄🌍  CASH APP: $travon2 Three M's..... Money Mac Murder ♿💙✈💸🔫 BASED ON A TRUE STORY: Desperately craving a better life, single mother Tina Murphy decided that it would be best to move to the quiet suburb of Deltona. Struggling to fit in with the suburb kids because of his hand me down clothing and Wal-Mart sneakers, Jamal decides enough is enough. He formed a neighborhood gang with a few of his friends for protection, as time progressed, larger gangs in the area took notice and were very anxious to test Jamal's "gangsta". Jamal befriends some Crips from school and decided to make his neighborhood a Crip one as well, this didn't sit well with the real Crips. After years of false claiming, Jamal met a drug dealing pimp named Monster. Monster was the "OG" for the Florida chapter of the Long Beach Rollin' 20's Crips, he immediately took a liking to young Jamal and school him in the art of pimpin' and introduced him to the Crip lifestyle.  EXCERPT FROM CHAPTER ONE: The first pimp I can remember seeing was a white man, he was dressed like a preacher with his hair slicked back. It was around 4pm on a Saturday, my aunt Polly and I was enjoying a walk around the block when all of a sudden, I heard a loud SMACK! Followed by “ I’m sorry daddy”, I looked to my left to see this man who resembled Tom Cruise dragging a young black woman down the street by her hair. At this time I was too young to understand what I saw, but what I saw penetrated my soul. I couldn’t tell the difference between a pastor and a pimp, and still to this day it’s hard to distinguish the two. I just realized that these were well dressed men, that had flocks of women who would give them their money.

"One by one they were all becoming shades. Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age." — James Joyce, Dubliners. . James Augustine (1882 – 1941 ) was an Irish novelist, short story writer, poet, teacher, and literary critic. He contributed to the modernist avant-garde and is regarded as one of the most influential and important authors of the 20th century. Joyce is best known for Ulysses (1922 ), a landmark work in which the episodes of Homer's Odyssey are paralleled in a variety of literary styles, most famously stream of consciousness. Ulysses has been called a demonstration and summation of the entire "Modernist movement". Other well-known works are the short-story collection Dubliners (1914 ), and the novels A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916 ) and Finnegans Wake (1939 ). His other writings include three books of poetry, a play, his published letters and occasional journalism. Joyce's work has been an important influence on many writers and scholars, such as Samuel Beckett, Seán Ó Ríordáin, Jorge Luis Borges, Flann O'Brien, John Updike, David Lodge, Joseph Campbell and many more. On 11 January 1941, Joyce underwent surgery in Zürich for a perforated duodenal ulcer. He fell into a coma the following day. He awoke at 2 a.m. on 13 January 1941, and asked a nurse to call his wife and son, before losing consciousness again. They were on their way when he died 15 minutes later. Joyce died less than a month short of his 59th birthday. . . . *reupload from June, 2019* . . #jamesjoyce #ireland #dublin #ulysses #consciousness #author #writer #josephcampbell #henrikibsen #knuthamsun #modernism #philosophy #booklover #books #quotesdaily #playwright #theatre #literature #classic #novel #poetry #art #fiction

'Always praise your friends, more those who are absent to those who are present' . The English title of this book is 'The Patriarch and the Prince. The letter of Patriarch Photios of Constantinople to Khan Michael of Bulgaria'. It is basically a manual on how to govern, but I read and studied it as a self improvement book and although it is written in 9th century it has a timeless character that I found very helpful to apply in my life. From a political point of view it is quite the opposite of Machiavelli's Prince where a governor must function like a steamroller, not taking into consideration anything in order to achieve their plans. In contrast Photios' Prince approaches every matter with love, justice and wisdom. So practically their main difference is that Machiavelli suggests that people must fear their governor, while Photios suggests that it is better to respect their governor.

Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell ☕ Orwell's first book is an autobiographical (but fictional ) memoir. I was surprised by how quickly I read this, I was expecting a depressing Dickensian tale of woe but it was quite easy to read. Our narrator (who I can't help but imagine as a young Orwell ) finds himself without money in Paris and works various menial jobs in kitchens and gives us a view of how the homeless and out-of-work lived in Paris. We also get a very interesting inside view of consumerist culture. He then moved to London only to experience the same poverty, just in another, more brutal city. This time instead of kitchen work we get a look at street artists and tramps living in workhouses. It wouldn't be an Orwell book without sharp social and political commentary, and this is no exception. There were some sobering truths about poverty, how it is a product of it's time but is also constant and transcends geography. The writing is very honest, and sometimes even funny. There was one jab at The Daily Mail (an English tabloid ) that made me laugh since it's still true almost a hundred years later! Overall, I'm glad I read it. It's not a masterpiece but I liked seeing Orwell's early work, it made me appreciate his famous novels even more. Huge thank you to @vintagebooks for sending me this beautiful copy ✨
