What's the QUICKEST way to gain weight?      To do it right, of course.      The worst thing you can do is do things the wrong way and end up starting all over, wasting months, or worse, YEARS making mistakes.      I know you've been suffering for years, being underweight.      You don't like what you see in the mirror.    You hate the comments that you get from your friends, family, women or just people you interact with during the day.    You wish you could just put on a few pounds so you look "normal".      You've tried eating everything in sight, sometimes to the point where you feel nauseous, but your weight doesn't change, or worse, you actually lose weight.      You want change NOW.       What you have to understand is, you can't undo 10, 15, 20 years of bad habits in a week.      You need to breakdown the bad habits you have and instill better ones.      Habits that will help you become a stronger and healthier version of yourself.      Habits that will help you look and feel better.      Habits that will eventually change the way you live your life for the better.      But you HAVE to give it TIME. I really struggled with food. Food didn’t make me feel good, it used to make me anxious. I wasn’t hungry, and when I ate I’d feel so uncomfortably full. I now realise I was having digestion struggles & intolerances etc but at the time I hated food. I then developed anxiety over food, I struggled with mixing foods together, fears of food poisoning, fears of eating too much. Fears of food making me sick. Anxious around meat, hygiene. Then would wash my hands a zillion times til they were red raw convinced they were dirty. I just didn’t want to be “poisoned.” I’m still overcoming this. But I know it will be gone. I had also been severely underweight, in general throughout my life unable to gain, not because I didn’t want to, but because I just couldn’t. There were years where I had extreme sickness & the nausea & vomiting made eating even more impossible. Circumstances around the same time tipped me into a nervous breakdown & it was then, after years of trying to show people the truth that I really did want to put on weight, but I just couldn’t (which was completely true ) that the false accusations I’d fought so long against about why I was underweight took over me & I flipped a switch I’d never flipped to before, I stopped wanting to eat because I wanted to die & to punish myself. I enjoyed seeing myself starve. At 6 stone & a half I went into an eating disorder unit. (Twice ). All that to say, you are not alone. I understand food struggles. & part of doing this page is to help me have a healthy view of food & see it as something positive, which it is. Food is medicine, & after going through struggles all I can hope is to be able to help people see the truth about food & nutrition, & to love themselves enough to be able to look after themselves in that way. & please, PLEASE be kind. She shares: “This picture on the left makes my stomach flip. Y’all I was so sick. I was pouring all my energy into my kids and not taking care of myself. Anxiety is a devil and had taken over my life. I lost friends cause they didn’t get it. I couldn’t even leave cedartown without having a huge panic attack. It restricted me and held me back. My thyroid was so out of whack which didn’t help the anxiety either. I couldn’t put weight on and had zero energy to play with my kids. I wasn’t even cooking cause I was wiped out. Have you ever stopped and think about how often we are told to change our appearance? "Body shaming," won’t be two wrong words to describe that it’s one of the most common issue of our society. In our society we both men and women are treated as objects. We go through our lives looking at other humans and feel envious of them. So, we start comparing ourselves to them but at the same time we don’t know how they feel about themselves as well. We often hear sentences like: ‘Ghar waley kuch khaney ko nahi detey?’ ‘Diet kab karogi?’ ‘Gym jaker apney maa baap ka paisa zaya kardia.’ ‘Kuch khaya piya karo agey jaker masley hongey’ ‘yeh kia choti kameez pehni hai wazan nahi dekha apna?’ ‘Yaar yeh apni height kai hisaab sei itna sukha hai.’ ‘Tum itney motey hou, thora khana pena kam karo’ ‘kam khao phat jaogi’ It takes one sentence to ruin someone’s life, to make them feel insecure about themselves and to make them hate themselves. Whether that sentence is from your friend or a stranger. We often tend to ignore the fact that words aren’t easy to forget or let go and especially if it’s about someone’s appearance. It becomes so hard for them to love themselves and feel comfortable about themselves again. Being overweight or underweight is our choice. It isn’t something wrong. If we feel comfortable within our bodies, it’s absolutely amazing as it’s our home. Comfort should be the first priority whenever it comes to choosing a home. Please accept the way you’re and don’t let anyone else change you. Please accept others how they are and don’t try to change them as well. It’s our right to be the way we want to be. We don’t understand sometimes that our one compliment can make someone’s day. Be kind to yourself and others. 💓🌻

9 YEAR DIFFERENCE! 🤯 lil inspirational rant on my study break! . . What you DON’T see is the in between, where my weight fluctuated. . . You see the 17 year old girl who couldn’t gain weight (dance 7 days a week + meds + eating everything in sight ) and the almost 27 year old, still figuring things out, but has a better grasp (and education❗️ ) on her body, nutrition, exercise, physiology and more. And her mental health (sorta ). . . I used to be told I was anorexic or had some eating disorder. To put meat on my bones. To eat a burger. That they could snap me easily. . . Then college + weight gain. Then I was told I put on weight in not so nice ways. . . Now I’ve got the body people want. Or I’m still skinny. Or I’m too muscular. . . You can’t please everyone. Do it FOR YOU! For your own health. Your own happiness. Your own peace. Not because society. Not because people are rude and probably just jealous or don’t understand your journey. You get one body, show it some love as you reach all you’re capable of, and then some 💕 . . Remember, it’s a marathon not a sprint. Lasting changes & progress take time. Ging alles von vorn los - nur mit anderen Argumenten . Deine Beine sind viel zu dünn ! Du musst doch mal was essen ! Du siehst aus wie ein Erwachsener im Kinderkörper ! Du hast keine Kurven - garnicht fraulich ! Und am Ende habe ich nach langer langer Zeit und vielen Tränen verstanden , dass es niemals klappen wird , Jedem zu gefallen !
