Večina industrijsko pridelanih sladoledov je žal narejenih iz sestavin slabše kakovosti, vsebujejo veliko rafiniranega sladkorja, trans in hidrogeniranih maščob, umetnih arom, barvil, konzervansov, emulgatorjev.⠀ ⠀ Če pojemo vsake toliko kakšno kepico, seveda s tem ni nič hudo narobe. Če si želimo drugačnega, pa je najbolje, da si ga pripravimo sami.⠀ ⠀ Ker smo pri nas veliki sladkosnedi, smo letos pripravili res veliko domačega sladoleda z blenderjem Omniblend.⠀ ⠀ Danes s teboj delim nekaj mojih ugotovitev. ⠀ 🍦Za sladoled uporabi slabo 1/3 svežega sadja in dobri 2/3 zamrznjenega;⠀ 🍦Lahko pa uporabiš tudi 1 dl tekočine in 3 skodelice rahlo odmrznjenega sadja.⠀ 🍦Kot osnova se najbolje obnese banana, ki naredi lepo strukturo in doda ravno prav sladkobe. ⠀ 🍦Za bolj izrazit bananin okus dodaj zelo zrele banane.⠀ 🍦Če želiš, da prevladuje drug okus pa uporabi sicer zrele banane, ampak ne preveč rjave. ⠀ 🍦Za ekstra kremasto strukturo in bogat okus dodaj 1-2 žlici masla iz oreškov in/ali 1-2 žlici kokosove maščobe.⠀ 🍦Uporabi svojo domišljijo in se igraj z okusi. mushroom and miso pasta !! Only takes 15 mins to make and the result is so so yummy (and simple ) 🧅🧄 • 1. Boil favourite pasta until al dente 2. Fry a generous amount of mushroom slices in oil until golden/brown and place aside 3. In the same pan, sauté 1/2 onion and 2 garlic cloves in an oil/butter mix until fragrant 4. Add mushrooms back to pan and season with salt, pepper and smoked paprika then add 1 tbsp of flour and cook for a minute or so *(Could use cream instead of flour and milk ) 5. Whisk a tbsp of miso paste with a tbsp of butter and add to pan, along with 1 1/2 cup of any milk, 1/2 tsp of Dijon mustard and a splash of soy sauce 6. Bring to the boil and then simmer on low until the pasta is ready 7. Add pasta and a dash of pasta water to pan along with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley 8. PULLED BBQ JACKFRUIT SANDWICH 🥪 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These turned out so delicious and were super simple to make! We have a reel video up of how we made these sandwiches and here’s the full recipe! ⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣ •½ tbsp of butter ⁣ •1 tbsp of maple syrup ⁣ •1 tsp of sriracha ⁣ •¼ cup of bbq sauce ⁣ •3 cloves of diced garlic ⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣ 1. Heat your butter in a medium skillet and once hot add your garlic! ⁣ 2. Sauté for a brief few minutes before you add all other ingredients.⁣ 3. Stir to combine and let sauce cook down for a few minutes. ⁣ 4. Remove jackfruit from can and tear pieces into small chunks and place on a plate covered in paper towel. Press all moisture out of the jackfruit before adding into your sauce pan!⁣ 5. Let it cook for a few minutes while you prepare your toppings and bun. We used cabbage slaw mixed with a little vegan mayo 🙂⁣ 6. Toast your bun to add another layer of crunch to your sandwich! Scoop a generous amount of jackfruit and slaw onto your bun and enjoy!!

There are lots of different varieties that are easy to find at most supermarkets from the well known Bombay Mix to the super spicy Balti Mix! But featured here is my favourite... The Gujarati Mix! 🥰 . Most of the flavours from @cofreshsnacks are vegan, but always check the ingredients just in case! I usually buy them from @morrisons where they are very often 2 for £1! (This post is not a paid promotion ) . Health wise these are a high fat snack, so don't overdo it, but they're surprisingly high in protein and there are plenty of nutrients in the nuts, lentils and chickpea flour! Also all of the spices used such as chilli powder and tumeric are extremely good for your health, so these are a better alternative to other high fat snacks! . TOMATO ONION TART W/ BASIL RICOTTA This Tart has the quintessential flavors of Summer! Heirloom Tomatoes, Sweet Onions, Fresh Basil together with Ricotta and wrapped in a buttery flaky crust. Ingredients: 1 sheet of Puffed Pastry (Pepperidge Farm is Vegan ) 1 1/2 -2 cups of Vegan Ricotta (see recipe below ) 1/2 cup grated Vegan Parmesan 2 Tbsp of fresh Basil chopped 1 large Heirloom Tomato sliced med thick 3 small Capri Tomatoes sliced med thick 4 slices of Onion cut thick 2 tsp of Grapeseed Oil 2 Tbsp of @miyokoscreamery Vegan Butter melted Pepper to taste Maldon or Kosher Salt for garnish Vegan Tofu Ricotta: 8oz Extra Firm or Sprouted Tofu 2 tsp of Tahini 2 tsp of @coldmountainmiso Miso Paste 1 Garlic clove minced 1 Tbsp of Nutrtional Yeast 1 1/2 Tbsp of Lemon Juice Salt & Pepper to taste Directions: 1. Make the Tofu Ricotta by mashing the drained Tofu and mixing it with the Miso Paste, Tahini, Nutrtional Yeast, Garlic, Lemon Juice, Salt & Pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes even better overnight. 2. Sauté the Onion slices whole in the grapeseed oil just until lightly browned and/or translucent 3. Let the Puff Pastry sheet thaw before rolling it out on a well floured surface. You are just trying to elongate the pastry into a rectangle and thin it out a bit (about 1/8 of an inch all around ) Using a fork, prick the entire dough to help prevent it from rising too much in the oven. 4. Add the fresh chopped Basil and Parmesan to the Ricotta and mix well. Spread a thin layer of Ricotta onto the rolled out Pastry dough. Leaving about an inch or more of pastry around the Ricotta (This will form the crust ) 5. Season the Tomato and Onion slices with Pepper and lay them on top of the Ricotta in an alternating pattern. Fold the uncovered edge of the pastry over onto itself to form the crust. Brush the crust with the melted butter and season (just the crust ) with salt. 6. Mary c’est un vrai rayon de soleil, une force de la nature et une femme entrepreneure que j’admire. La recette se nomme ‘La Petit Frais de Mary’ et se trouve page 82 de mon livre: ‘La Cuisine Vegan du Soleil’ (disponible chez tous les bons libraires - lien dans ma bio ). Vegan & Gluten Free 🍭 “FUNFETTI DONUTS 😍👌 Via @peanutbutterandjillybeans 🍩 1 Bowl & 25 MIN Vegan Sprinkle Donuts 1 ¼ cups almond milk ¾ cup sugar ¼ cup melted vegan butter 1 tsp baking soda 1 ½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups all purpose flour or gluten free all purpose flour 3 tbsp colorful sprinkles Donut Glaze ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tsp melted vegan butter 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp almond milk 1 Preheat oven to 350 2 In a large mixing bowl, mix together the almond milk, sugar, melted vegan butter, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla. Then, mix in the flour just until combined, don't over mix! Fold in the sprinkles and spoon the batter into 12-14 donut molds. Bake for 25 minutes. 3 While the donuts are baking, use a whisk to whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and almond milk. We love all cuisines, but we have to say that Thai flavors are on the top of our list! 📝😋😍 This recipe is our way of expressing our love for traditional Thai ingredients… noodles, lime, peanuts, and more! 💚🥜 If you love any sort of Asian stir fry, you’ll LOVE our latest recipe! Don’t forget to top off your stir fry with crushed peanuts (the Thai way😉 )!⁣ ⁣ Ingredients⁣ * 1 tbs of olive oil⁣ * 1 inch of ginger diced⁣ * 2 cups of tempeh cubed⁣ * 1 bell pepper julienne⁣ * 1/2 cup of celery cubed⁣ * 1 cup of snow peas⁣ * 8 oz of vegan lomein noodles cooked⁣ * 1 1/1 cups of bean sprouts⁣ * Crushed peanuts, optional⁣ * Cilantro, optional ⁣ Sauce⁣ * 1/4 cup of peanut butter⁣ * 3 1/2 tbs of liquid aminos⁣ * 2 tbs of rice vinegar⁣ * 1/2 tsp of chili oil⁣ * 1/2 tsp of garlic powder⁣ * 1/2 cup of water⁣ ⁣ Instructions⁣ 1. In a mixing bowl, add sauce ingredients and mix well. Set aside.⁣ 2. Add ginger and olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Cook for a few minutes.⁣ 3. Add tempeh. Cook for about 5 minutes⁣ 4. Add sauce that was set aside in the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes⁣ 5. Add peppers, celery and snow peas to the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes.⁣ 6. 2 minutes before you are ready to add the noodles, mix in your sprouts.⁣ 7. Add cooked noodles to the pan.⁣ 8. Turn off the heat and gently mix it all together⁣ 9. Top it off with crushed peanuts and cilantro! ⁣ 10. Enjoy : ) ⁣ ⁣ ⁣
